Vickers SV4 10 C 6T 24AP

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial applications, the Vickers SV4 10 C 6T 24AP is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve built to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with flow capacity reaching 227 L/min (60 USgpm). The 3/8-inch port size and compact form factor make it well suited for use in harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile hydraulic systems.

Part of the Vickers SV4-10-C/CM/CR series from Danfoss/Eaton, this valve features hardened and ground steel construction for durability under sustained load and pressure cycling. The 24V DC solenoid actuation provides reliable, economical switching in installations where consistent valve response is critical. Rated flow at this configuration is 23 L/min, supporting controlled circuit management in both mobile and stationary industrial equipment.

Question by: Howard G on Mar 6, 2026, 9:53 AM
Got a harvester that needs a normally closed solenoid valve rated for high pressure, will this one hold up to 5,000 psi and still switch clean at 24 volts DC?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 7, 2026, 4:29 PM
Rated to 350 bar, which works out to 5,000 psi, and yes it runs on 24V DC actuation. The hardened and ground steel construction is what keeps it switching reliably under that kind of sustained pressure load. For harvester applications specifically, this valve is a known fit, it's actually listed as one of the target applications for this series.

What kind of equipment is this valve typically found on? Gotta make sure it'll work for what I'm messin' with.

Use-case-first: It's often used in harvesters and refuse trucks, so it's made for pretty tough mobile hydraulic systems.
