Designed for mobile and industrial use, the Vickers SV4 10V C 6T 115AP is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve suited for demanding applications including harvesters and refuse haulers. It operates at 115 volts and is built to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow rate of 23 litres per minute through a 3/8-inch port.
Construction uses hardened and ground steel, contributing to durability in high-cycle and high-pressure environments. The compact form factor makes it practical where space is limited without sacrificing performance capacity. Part of the SV4-10-C/CM/CR series from Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve offers a reliable and economical solution for directional control in hydraulic circuits across both mobile equipment and fixed industrial machinery.

So this is normally closed, right? Just want to make sure before I order it up.

That's correct, this is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve.
Question by: Freddie C on Feb 23, 2026, 6:02 AM
Got a harvester sitting idle right now cause the old solenoid gave out. This SV4 10V a 2-way normally closed setup, or does it stay open when the coil ain't energized?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 25, 2026, 6:54 AM
Normally closed means the valve stays shut when no power is applied. Current has to flow through the coil to open it and allow flow. So in a de-energized state, flow is blocked, which is a common and practical setup on harvester hydraulics where you want things stopped by default if power cuts out.
