Question by: Dale C on Jun 3, 2025, 1:01 PM
Got a harvester that needs a new solenoid valve and the old one's a Vickers SV4 series. This one rated to handle 5000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 5, 2025, 12:25 PM
Yeah, 350 bar which works out to 5000 psi, so it'll hold up to what you're running. The valve is hardened and ground steel construction, so it's built to take the pressure without wearing down fast. For harvester hydraulics that's about what you'd expect to need.
Question by: Gene M on Mar 15, 2026, 9:59 AM
Reckon this valve could handle the hydraulics on my dump truck? It's an older model, and I'm lookin' for somethin' reliable.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 17, 2026, 6:46 AM
Designed for mobile and industrial applications, this Vickers solenoid valve is often found in equipment like refuse haulers, so it should be suitable for your dump truck assuming the pressure and flow requirements are within its specifications. It's rated to 350 bar (5000 psi) with a maximum flow rate of 227 L/min (60 USgpm).
