Question by: Rod S on Aug 21, 2025, 1:57 PM
runs 60 gpm at 5000 psi, that kind of pressure rating enough for a refuse hauler setup or is this valve gonna be a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 22, 2025, 7:02 PM
For refuse hauler applications, those numbers are solid. 227 liters per minute (60 US gpm) at up to 350 bar (5000 psi) gives you plenty of headroom for the hydraulic demands that kind of equipment puts out. The SV2 series was specifically called out for refuse hauler use, so it's not just rated for those pressures in a lab sense, it's built with that real-world environment in mind. The hardened and ground steel construction helps it hold up where lesser valves tend to wear out fast.
Question by: Scott M on May 29, 2025, 9:35 PM
If this valve is normally closed, what happens when the coil gets power?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 31, 2025, 5:50 PM
Energizing the 12-volt coil allows the valve to open, permitting flow. It's a 2-way, 2-position design, so it's either fully open or fully closed.
