Question by: Joyce R on Mar 9, 2026, 6:30 PM
Running a refuse hauler and need a flow regulator that can hold up to some serious pressure. This Vickers FR1 handle 5000 psi or is that just a peak number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 10:05 AM
350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, is the rated maximum pressure for this valve. It's a fixed pressure compensated flow regulator, so it's built to maintain consistent flow even when system pressure fluctuates. For refuse hauler applications specifically, it's actually listed as one of the intended uses, so that's a good fit right there.
