Question by: Kurt J on Apr 3, 2026, 9:04 AM
Can this handle continuous use on a harvester, or is it more for intermittent operation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 11:27 AM
This Vickers flow control valve is suitable for demanding mobile applications, including use in harvesters, so continuous use should not be an issue. It's built to maintain a perfect balance of pressure and flow in those kinds of environments.
Question by: Dwight R on Sep 14, 2025, 7:18 PM
Got a harvester that needs a new flow control valve and I been told the FR2 series might fit the bill. This one rated for anything close to 5000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 9:58 AM
Pressure rating on this valve tops out at 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, so yes it'll hold up to the demands you'd run into in harvester hydraulics. Flow is set at 38 liters per minute, which is around 10 US gallons per minute, and the port size is 1/2 inch. It's pressure-compensated too, so the flow stays consistent even when system pressure fluctuates, which is real important in mobile equipment that's always changing load conditions.
