VICKERS PFR2-16-S-12T-/15.00

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers PFR2-16-S-12T-/15.00 is an adjustable, pressure-compensated flow regulator built to maintain consistent flow regardless of load-induced pressure fluctuations. With a 3/4" port size and a flow rate of 114 litres per minute, it suits applications where precise flow regulation is critical to reliable circuit performance.

Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and capable of handling up to 350 L/min (92 US gpm) at system level, this compact valve offers a strong balance of capacity and controllability within a space-efficient envelope. Typical applications include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and stationary industrial hydraulic systems. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, the PFR2-16 series is recognized for economical construction without sacrificing performance consistency.

Wondering if this flow regulator can handle the kinda pressures we see on our refuse trucks? They can spike pretty good sometimes.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 14, 2025, 5:25 PM
This Vickers PFR2-16 series flow regulator is rated up to 350 bar, which is about 5,000 psi, so it should be able to handle those pressure spikes you're seeing. It's built for demanding mobile hydraulic circuits.
Question by: Lee P on Sep 30, 2025, 12:22 PM
Got a harvester that's been giving us grief with inconsistent flow whenever the load shifts around. Would something like this Vickers PFR2-16 hold things steady even with pressure jumping up and down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 3:18 PM
Pressure-compensated design is exactly what handles that kind of situation. This valve is built to maintain a consistent flow rate regardless of load-induced pressure fluctuations, so when your harvester's circuit sees swings in demand, the flow stays regulated rather than chasing the pressure. At 114 litres per minute through a 3/4" port, it's well-suited for that type of mobile application.
