Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers SV5 8 C A4T 12DGS is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve built to handle up to 350 bar (5000 psi) with flow capacity reaching 227 L/min (60 USgpm). The unit operates on a 12-volt DC solenoid and features a 1/4-inch port size, making it well suited for compact installation in tight hydraulic circuits.
Constructed from hardened and ground steel, this valve offers reliable service across a range of applications including harvesters, refuse haulers, and both mobile and stationary industrial equipment. At a rated flow of 23 litres per minute for this configuration, it delivers consistent, economical performance where dependable directional control is required. Part of the Vickers SV5-8-C/Cm series from Danfoss/Eaton, it combines a compact form factor with robust pressure handling.

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Rod G on Apr 15, 2025, 11:09 AM
Got a refuse truck that's been chewing through solenoid valves and I need something that'll hold up to the pressure. This one rated for 5000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 16, 2025, 1:27 PM
350 bar which works out to 5000 psi. That's the max pressure rating on this valve, so for a refuse hauler running hard day in and day out, it's got the pressure handling you're looking for. The body is hardened and ground steel, which holds up better than softer materials in high-cycle, high-demand setups. Flow capacity tops out at 227 litres per minute, though the rated flow for this particular configuration is 23 litres per minute, so make sure that lines up with what your circuit actually needs before ordering.
