VICKERS SV4 8 0 0 120APS

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, this 3-way, 2-position solenoid valve handles pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi) with a flow rate of 13 litres per minute at 120V AC. The VICKERS SV4 8 0 0 120APS is part of the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton SV4-8-O/OM series, built for demanding environments including harvesters and refuse haulers.

Construction features hardened and ground steel for durability under sustained hydraulic cycling. The compact form factor makes it well-suited where space is a constraint, while the reliable solenoid actuation supports consistent directional control across both mobile and stationary industrial equipment.

Question by: Gary H on Aug 18, 2025, 10:47 AM
runs at 120 volts AC, but what kind of pressure can this valve actually hold up to before it starts having issues?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 19, 2025, 1:36 PM
Rated for 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi. That puts it well within range for most demanding hydraulic setups, whether you're running industrial equipment or something like a harvester or refuse hauler in the field. The body is hardened and ground steel, so it's built to handle sustained cycling at those pressures without wearing down fast.
Question by: Brett H on Dec 1, 2025, 4:37 PM
Will this here valve work on my refuse truck? Pressure runs about 4800psi on the high end.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 3, 2025, 2:15 PM
Its hardened steel construction is certainly up to that task, as this Vickers valve can handle pressures up to 5000 psi. It's a common choice for refuse haulers.
