VICKERS SV4 8 C 0 240AGS

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers SV4 8 C 0 240AGS is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve rated for 240V operation. Built on the SV4-8-C/CM series platform, it is suited for use in harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and stationary hydraulic circuits.

Constructed from hardened and ground steel, this compact valve is engineered for reliable performance at up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and flow rates up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm), with a rated flow of 11 litres per minute for this configuration. The economical design keeps installation footprint small without compromising durability under sustained duty cycles.

Running 240 volts on our equipment out in the field. This valve gonna hold up at that voltage without burning out the coil on long shifts?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 14, 2025, 6:37 AM
At 240V operation, that's exactly what this valve is rated for, so you're in the right range. The SV4-8-C series is built for mobile and industrial environments where sustained duty cycles are the norm, not the exception. Hardened and ground steel construction means it's not going to wear out fast under regular use. For the applications it's listed for, like refuse haulers and harvesters, long operating shifts are kind of the expected condition, so the valve is sized accordingly.

What voltage does this Vickers valve run on? Gotta make sure it matches my system.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 17, 2025, 6:17 AM
This valve is designed for 240 volt operation, so you'll want to confirm that matches your system's voltage.
