VICKERS SV15 8 C 0 120AGP

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, this 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve is built for demanding environments including harvesters and refuse haulers. Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow rate of 37 litres per minute, the Vickers SV15 8 C 0 120AGP operates on 120V AC and delivers reliable directional control in a compact form factor.

Part of the Vickers by Eaton/Danfoss SV15-8-C/CM series, this valve features hardened and ground steel construction for durability under sustained hydraulic loads. The economical design suits applications where space and weight are considerations without compromising pressure handling capability.

Running this on a refuse hauler that's seen better days, will 120V AC work straight off the truck's aux power setup, or does this thing need something cleaner than that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 10, 2025, 8:20 PM
Aux power from a refuse hauler should be fine as long as you're putting out a stable 120V AC. That's exactly the voltage this valve is rated for, and these trucks are a listed application for the SV15-8-C series. The valve is built to handle the kind of rough-duty environment that comes with that work, so ordinary vibration and hydraulic load cycling won't be the issue. Just make sure your AC supply is consistent and you're good to go.

Will this here valve hold up on my harvester? I run that thing hard, long days.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 11:46 AM
It's rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and built with hardened steel, so it should handle the sustained hydraulic loads in a demanding environment like a harvester.
