Question by: Dean G on Mar 19, 2026, 6:30 AM
runs at 350 bar, but what's the actual flow it's rated to handle at that pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 21, 2026, 6:47 AM
At full pressure, the valve is rated up to 350 bar (5000 psi), and the maximum flow capacity comes in at 300 liters per minute, which works out to about 80 US gallons per minute. The 15 liters per minute figure listed separately refers to the valve's own flow rate rather than the system throughput ceiling. So for high-demand mobile applications like refuse haulers or harvesters, there's solid headroom on the flow side.

Can this handle hydraulic systems that run pretty hot?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 14, 2026, 6:43 AM
Designed for both mobile and industrial uses, this Vickers RV1-8 series valve is rated to 350 bar (5000 psi), so it should handle demanding conditions.
