running a couple of these on a refuse hauler setup and just want to make sure i got the right one, this is the normally open version, correct?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 2, 2026, 6:23 PM
Right, the SV3-16-0P-0-00 is a 2-way, 2-position normally open configuration. On a refuse hauler that matters a good bit, since normally open means flow passes through when the solenoid is de-energized. That lines up with a lot of mobile hydraulic setups where you want flow by default and close it on command.

Reckon this valve would hold up okay on a refuse truck, dealin' with all that hydraulic demand?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 7:07 AM
Made from hardened and ground steel and designed for demanding environments, this Vickers valve is well-suited for the hydraulic systems on refuse haulers. It's built to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi).
