flow rate on this one says 38 litres per minute but I seen the series goes up to 160 -- does that mean I could swap in a higher-flow model from the same EPRV1-16 lineup if my circuit needs more throughput down the road?

The 38 L/min rating is specific to this particular valve, but yes, the EPRV1-16 series as a whole is built to handle flows up to 160 L/min (about 42 USgpm). So if your application grows or you're running a circuit that demands more volume, there are other models within the same series that can handle heavier flow without you having to jump to a completely different product family. Worth planning around that if you think your requirements might change.
