VICKERS FR5-10-F-0-0.50

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers FR5-10-F-0-0.50 is a fixed pressure compensated flow regulator built to maintain consistent flow regardless of load-induced pressure variations. Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity up to 350 L/min (92 USgpm), it delivers reliable performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

With a nominal flow rate of 23 litres per minute, this compact valve suits applications in harvesters, refuse haulers, and general mobile or industrial hydraulic systems. The fixed pressure compensated style makes it well suited to circuits requiring stable, repeatable flow control without manual adjustment. Compact construction supports integration in space-constrained installations without sacrificing performance or durability.

Hey, this thing's listed for harvesters and refuse trucks... would it be alright on a log splitter too, ya think?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 15, 2025, 1:11 PM
Use-case-first. Given its flow and pressure ratings, and as long as your log splitter falls within those parameters, it should work just fine. This regulator is designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.
Question by: Wayne B on May 7, 2025, 6:02 AM
got a harvester that keeps bogging down when the load changes, would a fixed pressure compensated flow regulator like this one help keep things steady?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 8, 2025, 9:37 PM
Pressure spikes and load swings are exactly what this style of valve is built to handle. The fixed pressure compensated design holds your flow rate stable even when load-induced pressure variations try to throw things off. With a nominal flow of 23 litres per minute, it suits mobile equipment like harvesters pretty well. You won't be manually adjusting it either, which keeps things simple once it's dialed in.
