VICKERS SV1-8-4-A4T-24DGS

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers SV1-8-4-A4T-24DGS is a 4-way, 2-position solenoid valve built to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with flow capacity reaching 227 L/min (60 USgpm). The 24V DC coil configuration and 1/4-inch port size make it a compact, practical choice for harvesters, refuse haulers, and a wide range of mobile hydraulic systems.

Constructed from hardened and ground steel, this valve is built to maintain dimensional consistency and long service life under cyclic loading. Part of the Vickers SV1-8-4/4M series by Danfoss, it delivers reliable directional control in a space-efficient package suited to installations where performance consistency matters.

Question by: Dale B on Sep 29, 2025, 5:59 PM
Got a harvester that keeps blowing directional valves and I need somethin that'll hold up to 5,000 psi without flinching. this the right one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 5:53 PM
At 350 bar (5,000 psi) rated pressure and built from hardened and ground steel, this valve is specifically listed for harvester applications and is constructed to maintain dimensional consistency under the kind of cyclic loading that chews through lesser components. The 4-way, 2-position configuration gives you full directional control, and the 24V DC coil matches the electrical systems common in that equipment. For a harvester running hard in the field, it checks the right boxes.
Question by: Dwayne R on Nov 8, 2025, 12:39 PM
Will this handle the pressure on my harvester? I'm runnin' around 4800 psi.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 9, 2025, 1:37 PM
This Vickers valve is designed to handle pressures up to 5000 psi, so it should work fine with your harvester's hydraulic system.
