VICKERS SV4-8-0M-0-00

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial applications, the Vickers SV4-8-0M-0-00 is a 3-way, 2-position solenoid valve built to perform in environments such as harvesters and refuse haulers. It is rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and supports flow up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm), with a noted flow rate of 13 litres per minute in standard configuration.

Constructed from hardened and ground steel, this valve offers durability suited to high-cycle hydraulic circuits. Its compact form factor makes it a practical choice where space and weight are considerations, without compromising on pressure handling capability.

Part of the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton SV4-8-O/OM series, this valve is a reliable, economical option for both mobile equipment and stationary industrial hydraulic systems.

Question by: Denise M on Apr 1, 2026, 9:56 PM
Running a refuse hauler and need a 3-way 2-position solenoid valve that can hold up to the grind of daily use. This part rated for that kind of work or is it more of a light-duty deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2026, 8:19 PM
Refuse haulers are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so it's built with that kind of environment in mind. The body is hardened and ground steel, which holds up better in high-cycle circuits than softer materials would. Pressure rating is 350 bar, that's 5,000 psi, and max flow capacity runs up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm). For a refuse hauler running regular daily cycles, this is a practical and economical fit.

If I'm dealin' with a system pushin' close to that 5000 psi, is this valve gonna hold up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 25, 2026, 3:14 PM
Constructed from hardened and ground steel, this valve is definitely built to handle pressures up to 350 bar, which is around 5000 psi.
