VICKERS FR2-10V-S-0-/6.00

Description & Features

Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity up to 350 L/min (92 USgpm), this adjustable pressure-compensated flow regulator is built for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The VICKERS FR2-10V-S-0-/6.00 delivers consistent flow regulation at a nominal rate of 38 litres per minute, maintaining stable output regardless of upstream pressure variation.

Compact in form and reliable in service, this Vickers by Danfoss flow control valve suits a broad range of equipment including harvesters and refuse haulers. Its pressure-compensated design keeps flow steady under fluctuating load conditions, making it a practical choice where precise flow management is required without adding bulk to the hydraulic assembly.

Question by: Dale E on Dec 19, 2025, 9:10 PM
Flow rate on this one says 38 litres per minute nominal, does it hold that pretty steady even when pressure upstream starts jumping around on you?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 8:52 AM
Pressure-compensated design is exactly what handles that. The FR2-10V-S-0-/6.00 keeps output flow stable even when upstream pressure fluctuates, which is the whole point of going with a compensated valve over a basic fixed restrictor. You won't get perfect zero variation under every condition, but this style of valve is built to absorb those pressure swings and keep the downstream flow consistent. That's why it shows up in equipment like harvesters and refuse haulers where load conditions change constantly through a work cycle.
Question by: Tony P on Mar 10, 2026, 8:10 AM
I'm seeing this flow regulator used on harvesters. What makes it a good fit for that kinda equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 6:24 AM
Application in mobile equipment such as harvesters is supported by the valve's pressure-compensated design, which maintains consistent flow even when the load or upstream pressure fluctuates. This ensures stable operation of hydraulic functions on the harvester.
