Running a refuse hauler and need a solenoid valve that can hold up at high pressure. this Vickers rated for anything serious or is it more of a light-duty part?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 22, 2025, 6:40 AM
Built for exactly that kind of work. The SV1-8-4-0-12DQS is rated to 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, so it handles demanding pressure loads without issue. The body is hardened and ground steel, which holds up better over time in heavy-use applications like refuse haulers compared to softer materials. It runs on 12 volts and operates as a 4-way, 2-position valve, so it fits naturally into mobile hydraulic systems where you need reliable directional control under load.
