VICKERS SV5-8-C-A4T-12DWS

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial applications, the Vickers SV5-8-C-A4T-12DWS is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve built for reliable directional control in hydraulic circuits. Common deployment environments include harvesters and refuse haulers, where compact, dependable valve performance is essential.

Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity of up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm), this valve handles high-pressure demands within a compact envelope. The 1/4-inch port size suits space-constrained installations, and the hardened and ground steel construction supports long service life under cyclic load conditions. Operating on a 12-volt DC solenoid, it integrates readily into standard mobile electrical systems. Part of the Vickers by Danfoss SV5-8-C/CM Series, it offers an economical solution without compromising on build quality.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Cindy K on May 9, 2025, 7:16 PM
Got a harvester sitting idle cause the old solenoid valve gave out, will this SV5-8-C-A4T-12DWS bolt right in as a replacement for a 2-way normally closed setup running on 12 volt DC?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 11, 2025, 6:27 AM
For a normally closed 2-position setup on a 12V DC system, this valve lines up well. It runs on a 12-volt DC solenoid, uses a 1/4-inch port, and is built specifically for mobile equipment like harvesters. As long as your existing circuit matches those specs and can handle up to 350 bar and 60 GPM, it should serve as a solid drop-in replacement.
