Question by: Dale B on Mar 2, 2026, 12:23 PM
Running a refuse hauler and need a flow control valve that won't give out under constant pressure. This Vickers FAR1-12 rated for that kind of punishment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 3, 2026, 6:50 PM
Refuse haulers put a real beating on hydraulic components, and this valve is built with exactly that kind of application in mind. It holds up to 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, and can handle flow up to 350 liters per minute or about 92 US gallons per minute. The pressure-compensated design keeps flow consistent even when system pressure fluctuates, which matters a lot in stop-and-go refuse collection work where demand on the hydraulic system changes constantly.

Reckon this flow control valve will hold up okay on a refuse truck application? Seems like that could be pretty demanding.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 1, 2025, 6:13 PM
Designed to withstand demanding usage scenarios, the Vickers FAR1-12-S-0-/15.00 is well-suited for refuse haulers. Its robust construction and pressure rating of up to 350 bar (5000 psi) ensure reliable performance even under high-pressure conditions.
