Question by: Dwight M on Nov 21, 2025, 8:58 AM
running a 12v setup on a refuse hauler and need a normally open 2-way valve that can handle real working pressure, this SV15-8 hold up to that kind of duty?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 23, 2025, 6:07 AM
Hardened and ground steel construction is what sets this valve apart for high-cycle work like refuse hauling. It's rated for pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) across the SV15 series, and the normally open, 2-position configuration means it defaults to flow when the solenoid isn't energized. For a 12-volt DC circuit, it's a direct fit. Flow capacity on this unit is 37 litres per minute, so as long as your system demand falls within that, you're in good shape.

Reckon this would work alright on a harvester?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 2:22 PM
Application-wise, it's definitely suited for harvesters. They're designed for both mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, so it should hold up well.
