VICKERS RV1-10-I-0-9/7.5

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, the Vickers RV1-10-I-0-9/7.5 is a poppet-style pressure control valve built for demanding duty cycles in harvesters, refuse haulers, and similar equipment. The poppet construction supports reliable, repeatable pressure regulation with a compact footprint suited to space-constrained installations.

Rated to 350 bar (5000 psi) with a series flow capacity up to 300 L/min (80 USgpm), the RV1 series is engineered for flexibility across both mobile and stationary hydraulic circuits. This configuration carries a rated flow of 30 litres per minute. Part of the Vickers by Danfoss pressure control valve range, it balances performance and compactness without sacrificing reliability in high-cycle applications.

Reckon this pressure valve can handle bein' used in a harvester all day long without failin'?

Functionally, this Vickers RV1 series valve is built to hold up in demanding, high-cycle mobile hydraulic systems like those found in harvesters.
Question by: Ralph C on Aug 27, 2025, 12:27 PM
Got a harvester that's been giving us grief with pressure spikes. Would the RV1-10-I-0-9/7.5 hold up to that kind of constant duty, or is it more of a light-use valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 6:57 AM
Poppet-style valves like this one handle repeated pressure cycles well because the sealing element is simple and doesn't rely on close-fitted spools that can wear unevenly over time. The RV1 series was built with high-cycle applications in mind, harvesters included, so it's a reasonable fit for that kind of punishing daily use. It's rated to 350 bar (5000 psi) and handles up to 300 L/min across the series, though this particular configuration is rated for 30 litres per minute of flow. If your system stays within those numbers, the valve should hold up through the kind of pressure spikes you're describing without giving you much trouble.
