Designed for pressure-compensated flow control with free reverse flow, the Vickers FAR1-16-K-A12H-30 is well-suited to mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits found in harvesters, refuse haulers, and similar demanding equipment. The valve maintains consistent output flow regardless of load-induced pressure variations, making it a dependable choice where precise flow regulation is required.
Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity up to 350 L/min (92 USgpm), this valve handles high-demand duty cycles without sacrificing compactness. The 3/4" port size and a flow rate of 114 litres per minute position it well for mid-range hydraulic circuits. Its pressure-compensated design, combined with integrated free reverse flow, reduces the need for additional valve components in the circuit.

Question by: Vince R on Aug 9, 2025, 9:26 PM
Running a refuse hauler with some pretty demanding cycles on it. Does this valve hold steady flow even when the load pressure jumps around?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 11, 2025, 6:31 AM
Pressure-compensated flow controls like this one are built for exactly that situation. Load-induced pressure swings won't push the output flow off target, so whatever flow rate you dial in stays consistent even when the system pressure is fluctuating under a heavy load. At 114 litres per minute through a 3/4" port, it fits right in the mid-range circuits common on that kind of equipment without adding bulk to the package.
