Designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers SBV11-8-0-A6T-12DGP is a bi-directional, 2-way, 2-position normally open solenoid valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity of 60 L/min. The 3/8-inch port size and 12-volt DC actuation make it well suited for integration into compact valve assemblies found in harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile equipment.
Built on the Vickers SBV11-8-0 series platform, this valve combines hardened and ground steel construction with an economical, compact form factor. The normally open configuration and bidirectional flow capability provide flexibility across a variety of circuit designs where reliable solenoid-controlled flow interruption is required in industrial and mobile applications alike.

Running a 12V system on a refuse hauler and need a normally open solenoid valve that can handle real pressure. This one rated for 5,000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 10, 2025, 7:36 AM
Rated to 350 bar, which works out to 5,000 psi, so yes, it holds up to serious pressure demands. The 12-volt DC actuation fits right into a standard mobile electrical system, and the normally open configuration means flow passes through until the solenoid energizes to interrupt it. That setup is pretty common on refuse haulers and similar equipment where you want a fail-safe open state.
