Question by: Darryl H on Aug 20, 2025, 7:13 AM
Running 24V DC on a refuse hauler setup, need something normally closed that'll hold at 5000 psi. This the right valve for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 21, 2025, 8:08 AM
For a refuse hauler running 24 volts, that's a solid fit. The SV4-10-C-0-24BW operates at 24V DC, holds a 2-way 2-position normally closed configuration, and is rated up to 350 bar (5000 psi). Refuse hauler applications are actually listed as one of the intended uses for this valve, so you're not pushing it outside its design intent. The hardened and ground steel construction also helps it hold up in that kind of working environment.

Can this handle the hydraulic demands of a refuse truck without petering out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 7:32 AM
With a maximum pressure of 5000 psi and a flow rate up to 60 US gallons per minute, it is well-suited for the demands of refuse haulers, as long as those demands fall within those limits.
