VICKERS SBV11-8-CM-0-24DGP

Description & Features

Rated for up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and 60 L/min flow, the Vickers SBV11-8-CM-0-24DGP is a bi-directional, 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve built for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. Its hardened and ground steel construction supports reliable performance across high-cycle applications where durability and compactness are priorities.

Operating on a 24V DC solenoid, this valve is well suited for use in harvesters, refuse haulers, and a range of mobile equipment where consistent directional control is required. The compact form factor makes it practical for integration into space-constrained systems without compromising flow capacity or pressure handling.

Question by: Janet F on May 12, 2025, 12:37 PM
Got a harvester that's been giving me fits with its directional control setup. This valve run on 24 volts DC, or do I need a different voltage to make it work?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 13, 2025, 8:13 PM
24V DC is exactly what this valve runs on, so if your harvester's electrical system is already set up for that, you're in good shape. It's a normally closed, 2-way 2-position solenoid valve, meaning flow is blocked until the solenoid gets energized. That kind of setup works well in mobile equipment where you want the valve to default to a closed state when power drops.

Will this valve hold up okay in a hydraulic system on a garbage truck? We run those things hard.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 9:36 AM
Rated to 5000 psi, this Vickers solenoid valve is designed for demanding mobile equipment like refuse haulers. Its hardened steel build should provide reliable directional control, even in high-cycle applications.
