VICKERS MRV2-16V-L-0-45

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers MRV2-16V-L-0-45 is a flow restrictor-style flow control valve suited for harvesters, refuse haulers, and a range of mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. It handles flow rates up to 170.3 litres per minute and is built to the MRV2-16 series rating of 350 bar (5,000 psi) and up to 350 L/min (92 USgpm), making it capable of handling high-pressure, high-flow applications with a compact footprint.

Manufactured under the Vickers brand, now part of the Danfoss/Eaton portfolio, this valve offers a reliable balance of pressure and flow management in a compact, economical package. The flow restrictor design suits applications where consistent, controlled flow is required without significant system complexity.

Question by: Howard M on Oct 4, 2025, 7:24 AM
flow rate on this one says 170.3 L/min but the series rating shows 350 L/min. which number actually applies to what i'd be running through it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 9:45 PM
The 350 L/min figure is the series-level rating for the MRV2-16 platform as a whole. The 170.3 L/min is the rated flow for this specific valve configuration. So when you're sizing it for your circuit, 170.3 L/min is the number to work with for this particular unit.

Is this Vickers valve typically used on mobile equipment, like farm equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 20, 2025, 10:56 AM
Applications do include mobile hydraulic circuits. It's rated to handle the kind of pressure and flow you'd find in harvesters and refuse haulers, which are mentioned specifically.
