Question by: Dale M on Jan 18, 2026, 12:50 PM
Reckon this valve'd hold up okay on a refuse hauler, given all the stop-and-go and the hydraulic demands?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 8:00 AM
Designed for demanding mobile and industrial applications like harvesters and refuse haulers, this Vickers solenoid valve is built to withstand strenuous conditions. Its hardened and ground steel construction ensures durability and long-lasting performance in such environments.
Question by: Harold H on Jul 25, 2025, 9:58 AM
Got a harvester that keeps blowing out solenoid valves and I need something that'll hold up, this a normally closed setup or does it default open when power cuts out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 8:38 AM
Normally closed is exactly what this one is. When the coil loses power, the valve shuts. That's a common preference on harvest equipment where you want flow to stop if something cuts out unexpectedly. It runs on 12 volts, so it'll tie right into the electrical systems most field equipment already uses.
