VICKERS-SV4-10-C-0-12BF

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the VICKERS-SV4-10-C-0-12BF is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve rated for demanding environments including harvesters and refuse haulers. It operates on a 12-volt DC signal and delivers a flow rate of 23 litres per minute, making it well-suited for moderate-flow directional control applications.

Built to the SV4-10-C/CM/CR series standard by Vickers, a Danfoss/Eaton brand, this valve features hardened and ground steel construction for long service life under cyclic load conditions. The compact form factor supports space-constrained installations, while the series-wide pressure capability of 350 bar (5000 psi) reflects its robust design lineage. A reliable, economical choice for solenoid-actuated control in both mobile equipment and stationary industrial systems.

got a harvester that needs a normally closed 12-volt solenoid valve for directional control, flow ain't that high maybe 20-some liters a minute. this unit gonna cut it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 31, 2025, 5:28 PM
For that kind of application, yeah, this one fits pretty well. It's rated at 23 litres per minute and runs on a 12V DC signal, so the flow and voltage are right in line with what you're describing. The normally closed configuration means it stays shut until the solenoid gets a signal, which is standard for that type of directional control work. Harvesters are actually one of the named applications for this valve, so it's not a stretch at all to run it in that environment.
