Danfoss / Eaton Vickers CHECK Valve

Description & Features

Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a maximum flow capacity of 227 L/min (60 USgpm), this ball-style check valve is built for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The Danfoss / Eaton Vickers Check Valve belongs to the CV3-4 Series and is designed with low spring settings that support high operational efficiency across a wide range of duty cycles.

A flow rate of 7.6 litres per minute and a compact form factor make this valve well suited for use in harvesters, refuse haulers, and general mobile equipment, as well as stationary industrial systems. The Vickers sub-brand engineering behind this valve reflects decades of hydraulic component development under the Danfoss / Eaton portfolio.

Running a CV3-4 on a refuse hauler right now and the spring's gotten stiff on me. This Vickers unit a drop-in for that application or am I looking at a whole reconfiguration?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 5:10 PM
Refuse haulers are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so you're in the right ballpark. It's a ball-style check valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a max flow of 227 L/min (60 USgpm), and the low spring settings are part of what makes it a good fit for that kind of mobile equipment duty. If your current unit is a CV3-4 Series Vickers valve under the Danfoss / Eaton portfolio, this one carries part number 02-199885 and should slot into that same family.
