So, this here valve, is it alright to run it all day long, or is it more for short bursts?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 29, 2025, 6:11 AM
Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, this valve is built to handle high-cycle applications, so continuous use shouldn't be a problem.

Got a harvester that's been eating through valves something awful, would this Vickers unit hold up better than what we've been running? It's a rough environment and we need something that ain't gonna give out every season.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 23, 2026, 2:01 PM
Hardened and ground steel construction is what sets this one apart for that kind of punishment. The SV7A-12-4P-0-00 is rated up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and handles flow up to 227 L/min (60 USgpm), so it's built with high-cycle, demanding conditions in mind. Harvesters are actually a listed application for this valve, so it's not a stretch to say it was put together with exactly that kind of work in mind.
