VICKERS RV3-16-S-0-35/32.5

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers RV3-16-S-0-35/32.5 is a poppet-style pressure control valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow capacity of 303 litres per minute (80 USgpm). Its compact form factor makes it well-suited for installations where space is limited without compromising pressure management performance.

Part of the Vickers by Danfoss RV3-16 Series, this valve is commonly specified for harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The poppet construction supports reliable, consistent pressure relief across varied duty cycles, and the design prioritizes installation flexibility in tight assemblies.

Can this handle a continuous duty cycle on a refuse truck without issues?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 9, 2025, 8:57 PM
This Vickers RV3-16 series valve employs a poppet design, which is known for maintaining consistent pressure relief even under demanding and varied duty cycles. That makes it a good fit for applications like refuse haulers.
Question by: Cody J on Nov 24, 2025, 8:41 PM
Running 80 gallons a minute through a pressure relief valve is no small ask. This the right unit for that kind of flow, or am I pushing it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 25, 2025, 9:10 PM
Rated at 303 litres per minute, which works out to 80 USgpm, so you're right at the valve's rated flow capacity. Pressure-wise it handles up to 350 bar, or 5,000 psi. For high-demand mobile circuits like refuse haulers and harvesters, that's exactly the kind of load this valve was built around. You're not pushing it at all running at those numbers.
