Question by: Darryl G on Jun 13, 2025, 9:41 PM
reckon this valve will hold up in a machine shop environment, with coolant and whatnot splashin' around?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 15, 2025, 6:45 AM
Designed for applications like machine tools, this Vickers valve should be able to handle exposure to typical coolants and shop fluids, though it's always best practice to shield it from direct and prolonged splashing to maximize its lifespan.
Question by: Ray Y on Mar 23, 2026, 2:05 PM
Running this on a paper mill setup, does the seal material hold up to that kind of environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 25, 2026, 6:08 AM
Buna-N is the seal material on this valve, and it performs well across a range of industrial environments including paper applications. It handles typical hydraulic fluid exposure without breaking down quickly, so for a standard paper mill hydraulic circuit it should hold up fine under normal operating conditions.
