Vickers-Coil 12V DC G W/Male

Description & Features

Designed for continuous duty use across mobile and industrial applications, this 12V DC solenoid coil from the Vickers line by Danfoss/Eaton features internal rectification and a compact form factor well suited to demanding environments. Its internally rectified design simplifies AC/DC compatibility without requiring external rectifiers, making it a practical choice for hydraulic valve control on harvesters, refuse haulers, and similar mobile equipment.

The Vickers-Coil 12V DC G W/Male includes a male connector configuration and carries a product width of 1.81 inches, fitting within the SICV coil family. Built for reliability under continuous electrical load, it maintains consistent performance in the cyclic conditions typical of mobile hydraulic systems.

Question by: Lynn M on Oct 2, 2025, 4:33 PM
Been running a Vickers valve on my refuse hauler and need to swap out the coil. This one rated for continuous duty, or is it gonna give out after a few hours of steady running?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 3, 2025, 6:12 PM
Continuous duty is exactly what this coil is built for. It holds up under the kind of steady electrical load you get on a refuse truck running cycles all day, so you won't be chasing coil failures from heat buildup or overwork. It fits within the SICV coil family and runs on 12V DC, so as long as your valve and power supply line up, it should drop right in where your old Vickers coil was.
Question by: Jerry W on Jul 6, 2025, 9:13 AM
Will this coil work on different kinds of hydraulic machines, or is it just for certain ones?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 7, 2025, 9:48 PM
This Vickers coil is designed for use in both mobile and industrial hydraulic applications. You'll commonly find it in equipment like harvesters and refuse haulers.
