flow rate on this thing is listed at 800 litres per minute -- is that enough for most industrial press or clamping setups running continuous cycles?

For the majority of industrial press and clamping applications, 800 litres per minute is a solid ceiling. Most mid-range hydraulic circuits in that category run well under that figure during normal operation, so headroom usually isn't a concern. Where it matters more is making sure your system's operating pressure stays within the valve's adjustable range, since this one is built to cap pressure at a set maximum rather than regulate flow volume directly.
