Question by: Todd W on Jan 19, 2026, 6:50 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 600 liters per minute -- is that enough for most standard pressure relief setups or is that more on the higher end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 21, 2026, 6:22 AM
For most pressure relief applications, 600 liters per minute puts this valve well above what the average circuit demands. That kind of capacity is actually on the generous side, so if your system runs moderate flow with occasional spikes, you've got plenty of headroom built in. It's sized for setups where you need reliable pressure limiting without worrying about the valve becoming a bottleneck.

Will this pressure valve work in a system that uses petroleum-based fluids?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 21, 2025, 6:58 AM
Designed for applications requiring adjustable pressure relief, this Vickers valve should work fine with standard hydraulic fluids.
