I'm looking at this Vickers valve for a project. What kind of applications is it typically used in?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 28, 2025, 6:26 AM
This Vickers DG4S4W valve is often used in demanding industrial fluid power applications. Common applications include machine tools, presses, marine/offshore equipment, die casting and foundries, primary metal and paper processing, turbine control, and test equipment simulation.
Question by: Ronnie C on Jul 10, 2025, 6:21 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 95 litres per minute -- is that enough for most press or machine tool setups running standard hydraulic circuits?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 12, 2025, 1:48 PM
For the majority of press and machine tool applications running on standard industrial hydraulic circuits, 95 litres per minute covers a solid range of operating conditions. Where you might run into limits is on high-demand circuits pulling significantly above that threshold continuously, but for typical single-circuit press work or machine tool directional control, that flow capacity is generally more than workable.
