Vickers CG5 100A C M U B6

Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic circuits that require reliable pressure limiting, this adjustable pressure relief and regulating valve handles flow rates up to 454 litres per minute. The Vickers CG5 100A C M U B6 is a direct-acting pressure control valve engineered to maintain a desired maximum pressure within a system, making it well suited to demanding industrial hydraulic applications.

Buna-N seals provide resistance to moisture and the fluid compatibility demands typical of industrial hydraulic environments. A plug-and-play design simplifies installation and reduces setup time, while the valve's construction supports consistent, repeatable pressure regulation under working conditions.

Question by: Wade M on Jul 30, 2025, 6:51 PM
Will this here valve work okay with regular hydraulic fluid, or do I need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 4:59 PM
Buna-N seals provide good resistance to the moisture and fluid compatibility demands typical of industrial hydraulic environments.
Question by: Jimmy W on Sep 5, 2025, 7:36 PM
Flow rate on this thing goes up to 454 litres per minute -- that enough for most industrial hydraulic setups, or is that considered on the lower end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 7, 2025, 6:11 AM
For a direct-acting pressure relief valve, 454 litres per minute is a solid working capacity and covers a wide range of industrial hydraulic circuits without issue. Most standard production and manufacturing hydraulic systems run well within that range. Where you'd start pushing limits is in very high-volume applications running multiple large actuators simultaneously, but for general industrial use this sits comfortably in the capable range.
