Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Tammy B on Nov 17, 2025, 8:16 AM
Flow rate on this one says 255 litres per minute, that enough to run a press or baler without choking the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 6:41 AM
For presses and balers, 255 litres per minute gives you solid headroom. Those applications are listed squarely in the intended use for this valve, so you're not pushing it outside its design envelope. The cartridge format also helps keep your circuit clean by dropping right into a manifold cavity, which cuts down on fittings and external lines that can rob you of flow efficiency. As long as your system demand stays within that rated flow, you should get the consistent response times this valve is built to deliver under variable load conditions.
Question by: Lyle B on Jun 6, 2025, 9:26 PM
Will this cartridge valve work alright in a plastic molding machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 7:23 AM
This valve is well-suited for plastics molding machines, along with presses, die casting machines, shears and balers, and machine tools. It's also good for metal forming machinery, steel mill and primary metal processing equipment, and mobile vehicle and marine hydraulic systems.
