VICKERS-KCG-3-L160D-Z-M-U-H1-10

Description & Features

Designed for precision flow control in demanding industrial environments, the VICKERS-KCG-3-L160D-Z-M-U-H1-10 is a direct-acting proportional valve rated at 5 litres per minute. It belongs to the KCG-3 series from Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton and is available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, making it adaptable across a broad range of application requirements without over-specifying for simpler tasks.

Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, a practical advantage in time-sensitive installations. Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across typical hydraulic media. Suitable applications span machine tool, press, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper processing, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water turbines. This breadth reflects the valve's flexibility across both high-cycle industrial machinery and precision control platforms.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Marvin M on Mar 5, 2026, 6:20 AM
Flow rate on this one shows 5 litres per minute. That gonna be enough for a press application, or is this more suited to something lighter like test equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 6, 2026, 7:16 PM
Five litres per minute puts it well within range for press applications, and the KCG-3 series is explicitly rated for press use alongside test equipment and simulation platforms. The valve is direct-acting, so response behavior is more predictable in lower-flow control circuits. Where it really earns its keep is in precision control situations where you need consistent, repeatable flow rather than high volume throughput. If your press circuit demands more than 5 LPM, you'd be looking at a different valve altogether, but for controlled actuation and metered flow in a press environment this fits the bill.
