Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Frank M on Apr 29, 2025, 8:25 PM
Reckon this valve will hold up in a die casting operation?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 1, 2025, 6:52 AM
This directional control valve is suitable for die casting and foundry applications. It's also designed for use in machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal, paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control (wind, steam, water) environments.
Question by: Cody S on Apr 1, 2026, 8:53 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work or is it on the lower end for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2026, 9:23 AM
For die casting and press applications, 80 liters per minute is a workable flow rate that fits well within the range those systems typically operate. This valve is specifically listed for die casting, foundry, and press use, so it's not a stretch to run it in those environments. Whether it's enough depends on your system's demand, but at 80 LPM it's suited for mid-range hydraulic circuits common in that kind of industrial work.
