Got a machine tool setup running a fair bit of cycle work, is 80 litres per minute gonna be enough through this valve, or am I gonna be choking flow on the heavier strokes?

For most machine tool circuits, 80 litres per minute is a solid working capacity. That rating covers the majority of directional switching applications in that environment without becoming a bottleneck. If your system peaks above that figure during high-demand strokes, then you'd want to look at a larger valve in the DG4V series, but for typical machine tool duty this flow rating fits right in the expected range.
