Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Hugh P on Oct 21, 2025, 9:41 PM
cast iron build on this one, does that hold up alright in high-pressure setups, or is that more of a light-duty material for vane pumps?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 6:34 AM
Cast iron is actually a solid choice for high-pressure vane pump applications. It handles the structural demands well and resists deformation under sustained load, which is part of why this pump is built around it. The 4535VQSV10 series is specifically intended for high-pressure and high-speed use, so the cast iron housing is there for a reason, not just to cut costs.
