Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Shawn R on Dec 29, 2025, 9:55 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 115 liters per minute, that enough to handle a press application without starving the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 31, 2025, 7:06 PM
For press use, 115 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. Vickers lists press applications as one of the intended uses for this valve, so it's built with that kind of demand in mind. As long as your system isn't pushing beyond that flow ceiling, you shouldn't have any starvation issues at the valve itself.
Question by: Floyd W on Sep 21, 2025, 8:25 PM
Is this valve okay for a machine that's gonna be running pretty much all day, every day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 23, 2025, 6:50 AM
Designed for demanding industrial applications, this Vickers directional control valve should provide reliable performance in continuous-use scenarios, given its robust construction and suitability for die casting, marine/offshore, and turbine control systems.
