The Eaton Vickers KCG 3 250D Z M U1 is a direct-acting proportional valve suitable for demanding applications such as die casting, foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems (wind, steam, and water).

Available in three performance levels (ultra, high, and standard) to suit various application needs. The valve features a 5 liter per minute flow rate and Buna-N seals. Its plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time. This Vickers sub-brand valve has a width of 1.8 inches.

what applications is this proportional valve rated for? trying to figure out if it fits our press operation

got a KCG-3 proportional valve on a press, is this one direct-acting or do i need a pilot stage?

Direct-acting is the way this KCG-3 10 Design proportional valve is built, so there is no separate pilot stage called out for operation.
