Question by: Tommy D on Oct 21, 2025, 1:56 PM
valve's rated for 20 LPM -- that enough flow for press and die casting work, or is this more of a light-duty unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 6:13 PM
For die casting and press applications, 20 liters per minute is right in the wheelhouse of what this valve is built for. Those are both listed application areas, so the flow rating is matched to that kind of work. It's not a high-volume valve, but for proportional control in those environments it's sized appropriately.
Question by: Howard W on Dec 28, 2025, 9:55 PM
Reckon this valve'd hold up in a die casting operation? Those things get pretty rough.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 6:50 AM
This Vickers valve is indeed suitable for die casting and foundry applications, as well as machine tools, marine/offshore equipment, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment and simulation systems, plus turbine control (wind, steam, water).
