Question by: Rick M on Aug 28, 2025, 6:56 AM
We run a die casting operation and been looking at replacing our current directional valve. This Vickers DG4V 3 8C H V M SP2 rated for that kind of environment or is it more of a general-purpose unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 7:10 PM
Die casting is actually one of the listed applications for this valve, right alongside foundry work, machine tooling, and press use. It handles 80 liters per minute and runs at 30 watts, so it fits well into the kind of demanding cycles you see in casting setups. The Buna-N seals hold up to the wear and heat exposure that comes with that territory.
