Question by: Cindy M on Jul 6, 2025, 2:16 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 40 lpm, that gonna hold up runnin it in a paper processing line that don't really ever shut down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 8, 2025, 6:13 AM
Forty liters per minute is what this valve is rated for, and paper processing is one of the applications it was built around. The Buna-N seals help it hold up in environments where the valve stays in service for extended periods without much downtime between cycles. It draws 30 watts, which keeps heat generation manageable during long runs. That said, staying within the rated flow is what keeps it performing reliably over time, so as long as your system isn't pushing past that 40 lpm mark, you're in good shape for a continuous-duty paper line setup.
Question by: Norm W on May 3, 2025, 8:43 AM
Reckon this valve would hold up alright in a machine shop environment, with all the coolant and whatnot flyin' around?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 5, 2025, 7:27 AM
Designed with demanding industrial applications in mind, this Vickers valve is well-suited for machine tool environments where durability and reliable sealing are crucial. The Buna-N seal material is engineered to withstand challenging conditions, although specific coolant compatibility isn't listed.
