flow rate on this one is listed in liters, roughly how much is that in gallons per minute for us folks running standard U.S. equipment?

About 23.8 gallons per minute. The pump puts out 90.01 liters per minute, and that converts right around there. Solid flow for the applications this series was built for, like power steering systems and smaller industrial presses.

Is this cast iron or aluminum?
